Tina and her new Honda VT500 Ascot

I got the bike back from Stormy’s Garage today. I had modulators installed for the head and tail lights and all the fluids changed. The only minor problem is with the tail light out light stays on now that Stormy put the modulator  in. It not a big distractor; what do you want for a bike that was built in 1984 trying to get along with 2010 technology? All in all we are happy with the work and the ride quality. I got the Honda up to 80 mph on the way home so it has plenty of punch to go on rides with my Harley. I’ll be behind Tina most of the time anyway. It’s best to stay behind a new rider as you don’t want them trying to keep up with you and out ride their skill level. Sound advise I got from Keith when I bought the bike from him.

The video below is of Tina on the MSF course here on post. She has yet to get down to get her endorsement for motorcycle on her license so I drove here over to the closed course and let her have at it. She did well and likes the bike a ton. She is still getting used to the 500cc engine compared to the little 250 starter bike she learned on it a big step up but not so big to be intimidating .
Enjoy the video!
